New Schedule
Somewhere along the path of entrepreneurship I found myself at a crossroads. I love what I do but at what cost? Having all the amazing ideas in the world but no one wants to listen.
We all want to talk and get paid for it. We all want to be heard. We all have aspirations of being a content creator, influencer or YouTuber. I get it. But when you find out how hard it is to do that many of us check out, get real jobs or find something else easier to do. That’s how life is sometimes. We pivot.
For those of you just joining us I decided to quit my show, Crypto Fam Radio. I had made this choice a few months ago but I’m just now writing it out to you now. It was not sparking joy so I killed it.
The podcast One Eleven is giving me more joy even though it’s work. Everything is work when you get down to it. Don’t be afraid of the work. Be proud that you can show up and do that work and say congrats, I did something meaningful today. We abscond work like it’s evil. But in actuality, it’s the essence of life. Doing hard things, also knows as work, is a blessing in disguise.
Imagine if you didn’t have work, what would you do all day? It would be boring, uneventful and you would likely get into trouble. That’s the thing in being an entrepreneur. It’s work. It’s creating your own schedule and adhering to it. Not everyday is going to be the same boring thing you do everyday thank God. You get to tailor your schedule based on your needs, which mine for the moment center around getting more clients.
I have plenty of work I do everyday, just most of it is unpaid. However, one day it won’t be like that. That’s the thing. Doing the work first, not asking questions, shipping and repeating it over and over again will gain you the results in a way that impacts your people to a level of them not even realizing it.
