If you are a business of any kind, you will want an online presence, a personal brand. If you don’t have one and your business is doing just fine, you’re still missing out and I’d strongly suggest you start one. Having a personal brand online is extremely important in 2026 and beyond.

Let me tell you. People buy from other people. They want to see your face to see if they like you, trust you and will then buy your service or product. I have so many ideas that are all popping in my head to give you so many case studies on the importance of building a personal brand online but I’ll just give you 3 quick reasons below.
3 quick reasons why.
1. More people are online today than ever before. We are getting to the point where everyone in the world will be connected to the internet. It’s growing and will continue to grow. Whatever you post it will still be there after you pass and someone in the future will see it. So why not post?
2. You have the ability to connect with anyone, and I mean anyone. This is insane if you think about it. Anyone with an internet connection you can connect with and tell your story. And in reverse, you can listen to someone tell their story to see if you can solve their problems.
3. With AI becoming even more prevalent on the internet, it’s very, very important that you begin building your own personal brand online. Don’t have AI do it for you. Remember, using AI as a tool is the only way to leverage it. You need to take ownership of building your personal brand online through the content because no one else will do it but you.
Posting, creating videos, starting a podcast, writing a newsletter, leaving your mark to others so they can learn and be inspired from the history you left.
