Monday Motivation Part 1

If you are like me you are barreling at a high speed of 1,000 miles an hour with ideas and tasks you need to accomplish to push your business forward .0001% every day. However, you don’t realize the easiest way to not feel so overwhelmed and anxious is to slow down and do one thing at a time with intention. 

Here are 3 easy steps you can take to eliminate the ADHD and feel more in control on what you need to do to be successful in your business. 

-Write down your To Do’s for the week.

This is so crucial in remembering what you need to do and actually showing up to do the tasks one at a time. You make a weekly list and break it down into days, which brings you to my next point. 

-Pick 3 things you need to get done each day.

From your weekly To Do’s pick 3 things you need to focus on for the day and complete each one with laser focus. The number 3 is a magic number. There have been scientific studies on the importance of the number 3 and if you can focus on that number you are more likely to succeed in completing those 3 tasks each day. 

Take for example today my 3 things I want to accomplish is to complete and publish this newsletter, host my AVAX Community space, and to book my second sponsor, besides doing all my other daily social media tasks. So focus on your 3 tasks first to accomplish your weekly To Do’s and if you finish those before the end of your workday do another and another!  

-Develop a Morning Ritual

Set yourself up for success first before you engage with others. This one is huge. I generally wake up every morning between 3 or 4 a.m. to start my day. I do the same thing every morning. Some call it a mourning routine. I call it a morning ritual. I meditate, read, stretch/yoga and voice journal every morning. The whole routine takes about 2 hours but within those 2 hours sets me up for a successful day ahead. Try developing your own morning ritual and see if it motivates you to tackle the rest of your day!
