New Directions
Some of you may have seen the subtle name change while others skipped over it completely. It happens. I skipped writing this newsletter last week so don’t feel bad. I’ve come to a crossroads in my content and keep asking myself why?
I came across this quote from Seth Godin reading his book “Purple Cow.” “Sell what people are buying and talking about!” I know it’s common sense but why am I selling crypto when no one is buying or talking about it?
Crypto is still a big part of my life but last week I started to really feel it. All my sponsors dropped me and I honestly don’t mind. I’m starting to value more IRL events and getting to know real businesses that need help in their social media marketing, content creation and strategy.
I’m also focused on my personal brand, Digital Don, positioning myself as your tour guide to everything small business and local, health and fitness and digital nomad life tips on TikTok, YouTube and IG. Through this change I’ll appeal to a larger audience and I won’t be suppressed in the algorithm with crypto in my name like I used to.
My love for content creation, meeting new people, podcasting, writing, and making videos is the only reason I’m on social media. I know I have a long way to go if I’m going to do this full time and yes I may have to get a real job at some point but I’m trying my hardest not to.
This could be another evolution from Crypto Fam Radio to Creator Fam Media and Digital Don. More relatable, personable and focused more on serving the local community showcasing real people in the real world. That’s where my passion seems to be leading me, with my RWA (real world assets) Hydro Rush and The DNE NFTs.
Finally, this weekly newsletter will take a pivot as well, being more personal with what’s going on in my life versus what’s going on in crypto. Personal struggles, insights on what’s working or not as a digital nomad and the new directions I’m focused on in my entrepreneur journey.
