Relationships Are Everything In Life
I listened to this podcast today and I’ll re-listen to it later before I go to bed tonight, but it was a podcast host interviewing a podcast host. I know— the irony. I won’t spoil the theme but from my title you get the idea.
Looking back at my life I can see a pattern. Where I cherish my time the most is with the people I was with and how I treated them and how they treated me back. Granted it wasn’t always fruitful, but for the most part I have had genuinely positive experiences with people who aligned with my energy.
These relationships have taught me valuable lessons I will always hold onto. Even though people come and go in my life it doesn’t mean I have to keep holding on to their memories. I believe it’s why I instinctively want to pull out my phone to document a place or person who had a great impact in my life.
This last podcast episode from One Eleven was was really special to me. I met Arriel at a business conference and we connected in such a meaningful way I had to have her on the pod.
Sometimes I ask myself what are the prerequisites for getting on my podcast? Honestly, we have to be friends. We have to have good energy and you have to want to talk about your new beginnings story. It’s not that hard really. I know the podcast is still in it’s early stages of growing and I know it will take time to grow. But slow and steady wins the race, right?
