If Nobody Clapped, Would You Still Do It?

I’ve been on this authenticity train for a while, and I apologize if you’re sick of me writing about it, but I need to get this off my chest one last time.

I find this topic fascinating since we live in a performance-driven world. I get it—it’s very hard to discern who is real or who is acting to feign attention, gain status, or just get paid. I don’t know why people do the things they do, but the intellectual in me surmises they only do it for two reasons: for themselves or for someone else, but mostly for themselves.

When you want to show up for yourself, show up, be useful, and get back to learning how to be more useful. That way, when you show up in public again, people will know you’ve improved.

Life is a cycle, and it’s better to continue learning than to feel useless. Many times in my life, I have felt very useless, and at times I still feel like I’m not helping people the way I would like to. I’ve always had a big heart to help. It’s why I started the podcast—to help people understand what it really means to be an entrepreneur.

If you are the new kid in your industry, you will resonate with the next thing I’m about to say. As you continue showing up, doing the thing you love, and being as authentic as possible, people will ignore you, make fun of you, discredit you, and more. I’ve seen it happen, even in my own life, especially when you start gaining traction.

Don’t let them stop you from doing the thing you love. Never let what you do be a performance. Dig deep into what you truly desire. Your purpose will align with your authenticity. It’s coded as long as you continue to show up, follow through, and be the real you.

Trust this helps you in starting a personal brand and if you need help you can always book a discovery call here and I’ll guide you on this online adventure.

stay active, it’s attractive

Weekly AI Marketing Tip 💛

Automate your follow-up. Your next customer may already be in your inbox.

Budding entrepreneurs spend a lot of time attracting inquiries—then get busy and forget to follow up. Use AI to help interested people take the next step while you focus on delivering your service.

Start with one offer and three messages:

1. Right away: Answer their question and offer one clear next step, such as booking a call.

2. Two days later: Address a common concern or share a relevant example of your work.

3. Five days later: Send a friendly check-in. Stop the sequence when they reply, book, or opt out.

Let AI draft the messages using your actual offer, FAQs, and brand voice. Review them, then automate the timing.

That’s it for this week! Feedback Fam?

Keep showing up, keep cheering each other on — and as always, keep building community! 🏃‍♂️💛
