(How To Build Your Persoal Brand Series)
The hardest part of building a personal brand is simply getting started.
Hi, and welcome! If you’re just joining this newsletter, I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Donald Derosier. With a background in journalism and public relations, I’ve always loved the art of storytelling, building relationships, and creating magic for others.
My mission is to guide you through the adventure of building your personal brand online—through my podcast, One Eleven, and my full-service creative agency, Creator Fam.
Every week, I’ll unpack a new idea around personal branding. But if you’re wondering why personal branding matters in the first place, here is what it actually does for you:
Provides proof of your expertise before anyone even speaks to you.
Builds immediate credibility by showing how you think and solve problems.
Introduces your offers organically through helpful, value-first content.
Supports premium pricing by clearly demonstrating the quality of your work.
Drives real business outcomes—not just empty attention or vanity metrics.
Whether you run an online business or an offline company, people will search for you. What they find determines whether or not they trust you enough to buy from you. If they don’t see videos or posts where you are passionately solving their problems, they’ll move on to someone else who does.
In a world dominated by social media, it’s essential to build an online presence where you control your own narrative and showcase your authority. A strong personal brand isn't a luxury anymore—it's vital for business success.
The key is consistency and authenticity: the way you show up on camera should reflect who you are face-to-face. Being genuine in front of a lens feels intimidating at first, but with patience, practice, and self-compassion, it gets easier over time.
I’m sharing these insights because I’ve spent years putting myself in front of the camera, speaking my truth, and learning through trial and error. If I can do it, you can too—you just have to show up and just start.
Trust this helps you in starting a personal brand. If you need help you can always book a discovery call here and I’ll guide you on this online adventure.
stay active, it’s attractive

Blu Dot surpasses 2,000% ROAS with self-serve CTV ads
Blu Dot used Roku Ads Manager to drive incredible results for its furniture sales event. Its strategy hinged on custom audiences and retargeting, where intent was strongest.
“Roku has been a top performer,” said Blu Dot’s Claire Folkestad. “We have seen…CPMs lower than any other CTV partner we've worked with.”

This week’s AI marketing tip: Turn customer questions into content that sells.
Your DMs, comments, and discovery calls contain topics your audience already cares about. Useful content starts with customers’ actual problems.
Try this:
Collect 10 recent questions from prospects or clients. Remove names and private details.
Ask AI to group recurring problems and identify what might stop someone from buying.
Turn the most common concern into one short video, one post, and one newsletter paragraph.
Give AI this prompt:
Analyze these customer questions. Identify the three most common concerns using only the material provided. For each, suggest a compelling video hook, a practical answer, and a natural call to action for my creative marketing agency. Keep the language conversational. Don’t invent customer quotes or results.
For example, “I don’t have time to make content” could become: “Here’s what to record when you only have 20 minutes to market your business.”
Your move this week: Publish one video answering your most frequently asked question. Track qualified replies and inquiries to see whether it starts useful conversations.
That’s it for this week! Feedback Fam?
Keep showing up, keep cheering each other on — and as always, keep building community! 🏃♂️💛
